The Magna Carta on Display
A replica of the 1215 Magna Carta is on Display at the High Court of Australia in Canberra

Visit one of Australia's most important legal institutions and see the beautiful reproduction of the Salisbury Cathedral's 1215 Magna Carta created by Australian calligrapher, Margaret Layson.


WHERE:

The High Court of Australia, Parkes Place, Canberra ACT

TIME:

The Court is open to the public Monday to Friday 9.45am to 4.30pm. Sunday: 12 midday to 4.00pm.

Please check the High Court of Australia's website for its visiting hours in case there are any variations or special events.

ACTIVITIES:

An education booklet is available for teachers and students that can be used with the banners on display at the High Court and the What is the Magna Carta page.
